Although Trickers have been working with a lot of retailers in recent years, one collection that I always look forward to seeing is their work with Present. Using only the best available materials, including calf upper leather and oak bark tanned soles to produce bench-made shoes of the highest quality, the collection combines classic English styling with a modern contemporary twist. With a number of styles and different colourways on offer, the highlight for me has to be the Burgundy Stripe Boot. The combination of premium smooth leather, silver eyelets and white laces works beautifully, whilst attention to detail is second to none with a burgundy stripe sitting between the natural leather welt and the Vibram Christy sole.
